About me

I completed my PhD in physics and mathematical modelling at Queensland University of Technology (QUT) in Brisbane, Australia, in 2010. Since my doctorate I have fulfilled two postdoctoral research positions. After a short postdoctoral appointment at QUT, I completed a 4 year position at the University of Oxford in applied mathematics. I am currently a research fellow and lecturer of applied mathematics within the School of Mathematical Sciences at Monash University, Clayton campus, Victoria, Australia. I am a member of the MAXIMA platform (the Monash Academy for cross(X) and Interdisciplinary Mathematical Applications). I have broad research interests in applied mathematics which include, computational mathematics, continuum and discrete models, multiscale mathematics, physical systems and biological mathematics.
